Doctor of Physical Therapy, LLC is a private outpatient Physical Therapy practice consisting of movement experts who improve quality of life through the reduction of pain, movement dysfunctions, and the restoration of strength, endurance, balance, and range of motion. Our trained therapy staff prescribes exercises, provides hands-on care, and patient education while evaluating and treating impairments of the muscles, ligaments/tendons, bones, and organs. We are also capable of treating pelvic floor issues such as incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, organ prolapse, and many sexual dysfunctions for both men and women.
DPT, LLC is owned and operated by Dr. A. Nicole Jenkins, PT, DPT, a graduate from East Carolina with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and Howard University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Dr. Jenkins has advanced training in pelvic floor dysfunctions and aquatics aerobics.
Shelia Jenkins Riley, the practice manager, is a Cerro Gordo native and WCHS alumni. She graduated from UTC with a Master’s in Healthcare Management, B.S. in Health Services Administration, and Associates in Medical Billing & Coding. Shelia is capable of answering all of your insurance, billing, and hiring process questions!
Karlie Underwood is a Whiteville native and WHS Alumni. She graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Fayetteville Technical Community College, and from Campbell University with a Bachelor’s of Health Science. Karlie has worked as a civilian PTA with our active duty service members and their families. She is excited to be back in her hometown to serve her community.
